Then we walked and saw a bit more of Dublin, the Merrion district with its wonderful Georgian houses with the coloured front doors and ornate lamp posts.
We visited The Georgian House Museum and discovered the life of a middle class family during George's reign. It was interesting but the house was small with lots of stairs : 82!
After the museum we ate at St Stephen's gardens unfortunately the weather was not too good, too much wind.
And most important event of the day : Hugo's birthday!
In the afternoon we visited Christ Church Cathedral which was rather beautiful with a lot of decorations like in some French cathedrals or churches.
Afterwards we went to Moore Street to a small market where we had a competition : we were divided into groups and had to answer clues related to typical Irish food. People were really understanding and tried to help us find the answers.
